My friend Sherry dressed up as Uptown Charlotte’s esteemed “The Firebird” by Niki de Saint Phalle (more commonly known as “disco chicken”) this year, and we collectively won the costume contest uptown – I forget where specifically. Anyway, it was a lot of fun.
